Taren climbed on top of Meghan like she might be there to hold her down. “Listen to me carefully. I need you to bite her, remove as much blood as you can, then cut your wrist and feed her yours. It is a mix that her body can handle if the other is reduced long enough to make the change as did all the male bodies before made it. After I give the say, bite the other side where it is uninjured and this time, collect enough saliva in your mouth to push into her system. Spit, not suck.”

“What will that do?” he questioned horrified by the idea.

“The saliva is the key it seems. The poison of a vampire creation comes from it entering the system. Why it worked on men so easily is a completely different story.”

“Hurry up already. Just tell me what to do.”

“You start sucking,” Taren ordered.

He did as she said but didn’t hear when she continued on talking after he was lost to the taste of Meghan’s warmth on his tongue. After a few seconds more, he was clouded in a euphoric state he didn’t think he could return. Her blood was better than wine. Either drinking from a human or drinking from her was better than anything he’d ever experienced. Just when he didn’t think he could stop he felt stronger arms than a female pulling him away. Rob was there holding him back.

“Now cut his wrist,” he heard someone say. He reared backward and screamed for no one to touch her. Rob somehow summoned a scream louder than Remi’s that was able to stop him. Biting his wrist open and shoving it delicately wasn’t the easiest, but he did. Right dead center the tattoo he and his brothers shared, her lips sealed around it. She wasn’t drinking, but it was disappearing down her throat with the angle Taren had her neck at. By the time Taren was yelling to pull back, he was somewhat back in his right mind.

“Now here is where it gets tricky. Females faint.”

“Faint?” yelled a couple dubious voices behind them.

“It seems the weaker sex faints even when you don’t know it. At the sign of extreme pain and fear mixed together, girls faint. Where it gets complicated is how they die and never enter the process of transformation. When the body faints, the heart rate slows down. When the vampire saliva enters the system, the heart is too weak to pump it properly. Males don’t faint so their heart still pumps with intensity and interestingly enough, at a faster rate. So they are sure to change over.”

“I concur,” Kara jumped down from the counter where she was ready if she had to be and grabbed a towel. The buttons from Meghan’s shirt were torn off when Remi laid her down again in his rage and causing exposure any girl would be horrified to know happened and no one saved her.

“Don’t touch her,” Remi yelled and grabbed Kara’s arm causing her to scream.
